Today seven Water Witch VOLUNTEERS participated in a Ice Rescue / Cold Water Drill hosted by Harford County Company 1 Level. The members arrived at Company 1 at 0830 and were provided breakfast before the lecture started at 0900. After the 30 minute classroom portion, everyone traveled to the Churchville Pond in Company 1’s first due. The practical session rotated everyone through the Reach, Throw, Row and Go techniques. The drill wrapped up around noon, then it was back to Company 1 for lunch that was courtesy of their Ladies Auxiliary. We would like to thank the Level Volunteers for inviting us to this great training opportunity and for feeding us…twice!
